Tattooing the design

For the purpose of demonstration, I decided to tattoo one of the designs onto fake skin to see if it worked well on the "skin". The fake skin is made of silicone and fortunately is much smaller than the actual size the tattoo would need to be. The details help up rather well even though the tattoo was on a much smaller scale.

Step 1:

I printed off the tattoo design and stuck it onto my lightbox.

Step 2:

The design is then traced onto the skin, this process is stencilling.

Step 3:

I set up my machine and cleaned the area.

Step 4:

I began by slowly tattooing from the centre outwards to minimise smudging.

Step 5:

Once the tattoo is done the skin is then cleansed/ washed on fake skin unfortunate this causes a huge mess.
