GHD Ink on Pink Campaign

Writer's picture: Emily Mae ErnstzenEmily Mae Ernstzen

Ink on pink is a campaign set up by tattoo artist David Allen in collaboration with GHD. The campaign was set up to raise awareness and raise money for cancer charities including the Irish Cancer Society. David decided to collaborate with GHD because going through cancer treatments you not only lose your breasts, but you also lose your hair due to chemotherapy. Both of which empower a woman and make them feel beautiful. David’s career revolves around empowering women and making them feel beautiful again after going through cancer. For this collaboration David worked on redesigning GHD’s products such as hair straighteners curlers etc. For every product that is sold 10 euro is donation then to the charity.

" For the first time ever, we have tattooed our innovative stylers. Featuring acclaimed tattoo artist David Allen's stunning ethereal floral design, placed on a delicate pink colour; it's a beautiful tribute to those affected by breast cancer. Plus, €10 from every limited edition styler sold from the ghd ink on pink collection will be donated to the Irish Cancer Society. "
